Gurkhas Changing of the Guard

13 March 2023
Group 1 and 2 combined.jpg

It was an honour to photograph the Queen's Gurkha Engineers on them being given the opportunity to undertake the ceremonial role of the Queen's Guard at the Royal Palaces in London to mark the 200 years of service that they have given this country.

It is significant that the Queen's Gurkha Engineers are being given this opportunity, as it shows that they are highly respected within the British Army and that their contribution is valued. The Gurkhas have a long and proud history of serving in the British Army, and they have been praised for their bravery, loyalty, and professionalism. It is great to see them being given the opportunity to showcase their skills and to be part of this important tradition.
